There are some points to follow when mowing:
- Cut the lawn on the mowers highest setting.
- Cut once a week if possible.
- Cutting less than once a week especially in the growing season can shock the grass, which can result in the grass dying off and bare patches from forming leading to weeds and moss infestation.
- If the grass is long, don't cut it down too much at once. Mow twice.
- Remove cuttings from lawn as leaving them encourages weeds and makes the lawn more susceptible to diseases.
