These grubs feed on plant roots, causing extensive damage.
More damage is then created by bird, badger and mammal attacks - these grubs provide an excellent meal! The symptoms include thinning, weakening and discolouring of the grass, sometimes with uneven dead patches and turf seems spongy underfoot.
The damage these grubs make is most noticeable between May to October. Poorly maintained lawns are more susceptible to attack, so the LawnHopper® programme of treatments helps avoid any
infestations.
We can also provide a treatment for new customers to the programme.
