These grubs feed on plant roots, causing extensive damage.
More damage is then created by bird, badger and mammal attacks - these grubs provide an excellent meal! The symptoms include thinning, weakening and discolouring of the grass, sometimes with uneven dead patches and turf seems spongy underfoot.
